Song of Life
In the perils of time
Our life is written in lyrics, music and rhyme.
Music is the tapestry of woven art
Designed to enrich our lives or destroy it like a dart!
In this song of life; there’s a message about love…
Thru it He shares His light from above!
In almost every song written
It’s about relationship and how we are smitten…
In most cases, it’s how we identify with everyday life;
Hopefully it calms the soul from strife!
In each note and carefully written word;
It captures our memory in time, what we seen and what we heard!
Sometimes it brought back pain;
In others…..it was a time to refrain!
Like lyrics expressed; in our heart…
It would bring back memories of those who passed who tore us apart.
While in others it would paint a picture of hope;
Just knowing it brought encouragement to help us cope!
Even though we cannot grasp or touch it;
In our minds, thoughts and our hearts, we feel a fire that’s lit!
It brings us comfort, joy and peace….
The melody of fulfillment and completeness never will cease!
Even King David sung praises and wrote spiritual hymns ….
Expressed when we feel hopeless and helpless it’s in music where the light never really dims!
Whether it’s death or life;
Music is the art of healing or it can cut like a knife!
One thing’s for sure…
It can bring life if it’s pure!
In some our notes are received as sadness,
And in other moments it brings inspiration and gladness!
Whatever the case maybe….
Remember in each song of life;
There’s a personal message for you and for me!
