The beach…
On sandy beaches, so soothing sand;
I ponder a moment of days so grand!
Hearing the tide crashing its mighty roar;
Stirs something inside, while taking footsteps on this sandy shore.
There’s just something about listening to the ocean;
It’s a magic and aura that puts your soul in motion!
I close my eyes and feel the sea mist vapor;
It was a stay-cation worth more than love’s most affectionate caper!
While eye lids still wanting to close;
The cool crisp moist essence of fish and forest is fresh to my nose!
Walking step by step sinking deep between my toes;
It’s a feeling like nobody knows!
I watch the sunset’s final glow with my hands lifted high as I stretch and reach;
Reminiscing about my day and great time I remember at the beach!
