Seasons of change
In my life, just like the weather on the range;
There are seasons of change!
Like summer, winter, spring and fall, these seasons at any given time, can happen to us all!
Nothing in this life remains the same…
From the time we were born at birth;
Everything grows and dies here on earth.
For everything under heaven there is a time and season;
For some of us we stop and ponder and wonder what the reason!
In each of our lives, we go thru many seasons along this journey;
In some it’s relationship, hardship or even death rolled away by a gurney!
There is a time and season for everything it seems…
A time for joy like the sunlight that shines thru the clouds as it beams!
Seasons too, of great sadness;
when you lost your best friend or love that once brought you so much gladness!
A time to pray;
Or whether not to come, go or stay!
A season where you feel broken;
Yet in time and just remembering, it becomes only yesterday’s lost token!
All in all, as I write these words, I ponder and relate;
If I had some things to do all over again, would it be too late?
I look back, I see the present, and then I look just ahead in time …
I have to wonder how fast things especially change, even on a dime!
All things work out together for good in the end;
What seems like tragedy somehow God turns into a blessing to send!
Relationships and love may fall and bend;
Yet always around the corner, you’ll find a new friend!
One thing’s for sure, seasons do change;
Like the weather our skies are not cloudy all day from the home on the range!
