When the world stops turning
Have you ever had a strange feeling when your whole world suddenly changed?
All because one person had such an impact on your life that once seemed so sadly deranged?
The influence, energy, and aura, so great;
You feel ignited inside when yours and their spirit bear witness as a chosen mate!
In an instant transformed in time;
The skies part, storm clouds disappear, rainbows gather, and the sun suddenly re-appears like the 12 noon chime!
The stars seem to surprisingly shine brighter at night ….
They say the world stops turning at love’s first sight!
It starts out slow … But like a roller coaster, it climbs and builds quickly to brand new heights;
First a hug, then a kiss under heavenly lights!
Suddenly when reaching the highest sensation’s hush;
There’s a drastic decent with a wind that blows, surely to make anyone blush!
In that first moment of exchanged expressions and views;
I look up into the skies and now see new colors and brighter more vivid hues!
I fathom and ponder why change is sometimes so good, yet see things in strange unidentified new light!
It’s knowing who you can’t get out of your mind whether by day or by night!
It’s when everything suddenly stands so peacefully still;
You realize it’s a higher power-something much greater than just pleasure, fun or a frill!
In our daily journey, there are many turns, signs and things to question and ponder;
I’m so glad to know and find comfort, He’s in control and theirs no need to wonder!
It’s in this simple mystery of love so blind;
We ask ourselves what’s real and what’s not, whether loving or incredibly kind!
Sometime it’s the difference, uniqueness and individuality that so compliments the other;
It’s a bond of friendship forever that unites much closer in relationship than a sister or brother!
Knowing some things come natural when not always chased;
It’s such a comforting thought knowing some things worthwhile waiting thru patience and time, not always fast paced!
It’s truly a case of unconditional love, caring and gladness, and everything nice;
Letting go to let God design – taking certain chances, but not just rolling the dice!
It’s finding out that it’s not always someone just close or near,
But the one who reaches back no matter how far, to bring you a little good news, a genuine smile and timely good cheer!
Life becomes much happier with so many smiles;
Knowing some things are worth the wait and destined even across many more miles!!
